About PDF to Word

PDF to Word extracts the text of a PDF into an editable .docx document you can open in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice — useful when the original source file has been lost.

How to use PDF to Word

  1. Add your PDF file

Drag your PDF file onto the upload area at the top of the page, or tap it to browse your device. You can also pick a file straight from a phone or tablet — the interface adapts to small screens.

  2. Wait for extraction

Text is read page by page, reading order is reconstructed and paragraphs are rebuilt. Right-to-left scripts such as Arabic are normalised and laid out with correct bidirectional alignment.

  3. Review the result card

If the PDF turns out to be a scan with no embedded text layer, the tool tells you plainly rather than handing back an empty document.

  4. Download your .docx file

A result card appears directly under the upload box. Press the download button and the .docx file is saved to your device immediately. The upload area stays open, so you can process another file without reloading the page.

Key features & benefits

Editable, not an image

You get real text in real paragraphs, ready to change, not screenshots pasted into Word.

Arabic and RTL support

Bidirectional text is normalised and aligned correctly instead of arriving reversed or broken.

Table-aware layout

Column positions are detected so tabular content stays legible in the exported document.

Honest scan detection

Scanned PDFs are flagged up front, so you never waste time downloading a blank file.
